This course explores the ecological theologies, philosophies and ethics (i.e. "religious ecologies") within dominant South Asian religious traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Islam. Special consideration is given to how said "religious ecologies" have an impact on the way people today are thinking about and addressing environmental crises.
