Knowledge-Values Courses: Christian Tradition

This course examines the life and influence of Jesus of Nazareth.  Study of his theological significance equips students for work in "Christology": learning methods for understanding Jesus and what he taught. Historical, theological, and spiritual perspectives are all employed, both to note the results of each method, as well as to see the benefits and limits of these different perspectives.  The historical depth of the course empowers students to undertake and suggest Christological possibilities for the 21st century.

This course satisfies an Advanced Common Curriculum: Religious Studies requirement for students who began their program of study before fall semester 2013.
